Industrial Experiment Preparation:


- 100kg of tailings after primary IBA material separation:  100kg coarse materials and 100kg fine materials.

Setting Parameters of Experimental Equipment:


- Belt motor: 760r/min;

- Belt speed: 0.7m/s;

- Magnetic roller motor: 3000r/min;

- Magnetic roller: reverse rotation.


Experimental Results:

  1. Fine Materials

    The content of aluminum separated is extremely low, and it is mixed with a certain amount of sand, so no calculation and analysis will be conducted.


  2. Coarse Materials

    Separated aluminum: 0.166kg

    Mass yield: 0.166%

Analysis with Input-Output Ratio:


If the daily coarse slag amount is 150t, the daily aluminum output after separation will be 150t x 0.166% = 0.249t. Calculated at the aluminum price of 11,000 yuan/t (1,528 USD/t), the daily economic benefit will be 0.249t x 1,528 USD/t ≈ 380.5 USD. 


Calculated based on the equipment power of Sortek-1500 complete set: magnetic roller motor 7.5kW, belt motor 3.0kW, roller brush motor 1.5kW, vibration motor 4 x 0.55kW = 2.2kW. The total power is 7.5 + 3.0 + 1.5 + 2.2 = 14.2kW. With a daily working time of 10 hours, the power consumption is 14.2 x 10 = 142 kWh. At a price of 1.5 yuan/kWh (0.21 USD/kWh), the electricity cost is 142 kWh x 0.21 USD/kWh ≈ 29.8 USD. 


- Labor cost: 200 yuan/day (27.8 USD/day)

- Equipment installation cost (including labor, materials, and machinery usage fees): approximately 30,000 yuan (4,166.7 USD)

- Purchase cost of Sortek-1500 complete set of equipment: 265,000 yuan (36,805.6 USD)

- Daily net profit: 380.5 USD - 29.8 USD - 27.8 USD ≈ 322.9 USD

- Estimated equipment cost recovery time: (36,805.6 USD + 4,166.7 USD) ÷ 322.9 USD ≈ 127 working days (about 4 months).


Note:

Since the separation experiment is conducted in the factory, the experimental results may differ from the actual on-site production. Therefore, it is estimated that the cost can be recovered in about 6 months.
